High School Girls Mountain Bike Camp : 17-18 October 2009
Hey Girls! It’s time to shred with some Pro Mountain Bikers in SoCal! Join mtbchick.com founder and retired Pro Tonya Bray with special guest top Pro Mountain Biker with multiple National Marathon Championship wins Pua (Monique) Sawicki and downhill/endurance racer Stephanie Gadreau for a weekend of learning. You’ll learn skills, how to care for your bike, and get all of the Pro secrets for how to race, train, and for those f you who care- keep your nails intact!
This overnight camp is for all levels and any high school age girl interested in mountain biking, and in particular, being a part of the SoCal Interscholastic Cycling League. The camp begins at 10:00a on Saturday, 17 October, and ends at 2:00p on Sunday October 18. The $115 fee includes lodging at Warner Springs Ranch and meals from Saturday lunch through Sunday lunch.
Warner Springs Ranch is located Southeast of Temecula, California. Parents wishing to spend a nice weekend at the Ranch, activities such as golf, tennis, dining and relaxing at the spa await!

Directions to Warner Springs:
From Los Angeles
Approximately 2 1/2 hours
91 East to 15 South to Highway 79 South (not North), 38 miles to Warner Springs. Follow the signs!
From North San Diego County
Approximately 1 1/2 hours
78 East to the city of Escondido. 15 South to first exit on East Valley Parkway through Valley Center and Rincon Indian Reservation to Route 76 to Lake Henshaw. Left on Highway 79, then eight miles to Warner Springs.
From San Diego
Approximately 1 1/4 hours
North on Highway 15, exit at the Scripps Poway Parkway, go right. Turn left on Highway 67 which becomes Highway 78 in Ramona. Follow Highway 78 out of Ramona for about 15 miles to Dudley’s Bakery in Santa Ysabel. Turn left on Highway 79. From Santa Ysabel it is 15 miles to Warner Springs Ranch on Highway 79.
