Not So Brown Mountain :: Brown Mountain and El Prieto Officially Open
in 2009 charred over 160,000 acres in the Angeles National Forest, and the majority of the local mountain bike trails have been closed ever since. Last week, one of the most popular local rides for Altadena and Pasadena, Brown Mountain, finally reopened. What used to be a nice long fire road is now a sweet piece of singletrack.
